Hello,
My name is Jeff Ravatt and I saw your work on DevinatArt. I was hoping to inquire as to your rates to do a single page of concept/splash art for a video game I am building a prototype for which needs to be completed by June. If the game is successfully kickstarted, there might be other opportunities to create art for the game.

The specifics of the design are as follows:
I would be wanting to purchase the art for a game which would utilize the image as a splash screen for when a player selected the characters that were included in the image. The images would not functionally affect the characters, but would entice players to buy the characters so they could be used by the player (Like the art on a Magic: The Gathering card). You would be given a specific pair of characters to draw, with a brief outline of who they were. You would create them in your own style and not try to duplicate the styles of the artists for the other characters. While the primary use is for computer or tablet screens, they would need to be high enough resolution that if we decided to use the image for print for advertising or the posters it would scale up decently.

I would be paying for all rights to the images. You would be paid a flat fee for your artwork. You could utilize the artwork in a portfolio or webpage which was meant to promote your skills as an artist only. If the prototype gets made into a full game there may be the possibilities of Royalties. A contract would be drawn up outlining the exact nature of this agreement prior to any work being done or monies being paid.

Please also include your rates for an environmental art piece with no characters in it.
